Neon Drift League

Neon Drift League is my current commute obsession. It's a pure arcade racer — no realistic tire physics, just you, a tilt or touch steering option, and corners begging to be slid through. Hold the drift, chain it into the next bend, and the boost meter fills up. Nail a whole lap clean and it feels fantastic.

The controls take a couple of races to click, but once they do the game is buttery. I switched to on-screen buttons because tilt felt too twitchy on the highway sections. Tracks are short enough to squeeze one in while the kettle boils, and the neon art style keeps it readable even at speed.

My only gripe is that later cars feel a bit samey. Still, the core loop of chaining drifts is so good I keep coming back to shave a second off my times.
